How to post a picture.

We've had several people ask how to put a picture in their posts here. I just wrote this out for one of them and thought I'd sticky a copy in case anyone else is having problems with it. Thanks!

Go to a photo sharing site online. Photobucket is free and easy to use, but there are lots. Create a free account then there should be a big button that says upload photos. Click it and it will let you choose photo files on your computer to upload (with a little thumbnail preview so you know you have the right ones). Once you upload the photos you want to show, go to the "your account" so you can see the thumbnails of all the images you uploaded. Beside each one should list a direct link. Copy the link you want to post, then come back here. Right up above where you write replies here are a bunch of buttons. The 7th button from the left is the Image button. Click it, paste the link to your photo and hit OK.

I use http://tinypic.com/ sometimes, too. You don't have to register for that one.
