| a place to buy a cheap cell phone without having to get a contract, the phone also needs to be compatable with T-Mobile.. Basically I have t-mobile prepaid and want a different phone. The only phones that they offer for pre-paid are kinda ugly, the other ones they have are great, but you have to pay out the a$$ if you don't get a contract with them. Anyone know some good places to look? (I am talking under $70.00 if possible)but even cheaper would be so much better. I know I'm expecting miracles right? lol _________________ Sometimes I lie awake at night, and I ask, 'Where have I gone wrong?' | girl, heck no.
Try craigs list. Try freecycle.
I dont know if you can do it or not, but I know if you buy an AT&T go phone you can put your AT&T sim card for a post paid account, into it and it works fine. wonder if you can buy just anyphone (thats open?) and put your sim in there?
I have 2 phones that are in decent shape, but got a great offer to upgrade, so I did. I thought about freecycleing them or what ever, BUT, I want to keep them incase my hubby or I break these blackberry's.. LOL
I just wish I could put a text message only package on them. That way my kids could text each other.. I let them have the phones to take pictures with. Thats all they can do. I refuse to give them a cell phone at their ages. LOL
wonder if there is a CHEAP prepaid package for taht?? Texting only... I wanted to get them the chat nows. but I watched tem on clearance too long at walmart.. and they never got anymore. _________________ Busy handing Rebecca Torches and Pitchforks. http://aretheyalseepyet.blogspot.com/ www.chellesguidetofreesurveys.com

| Yes, I could put my SIM card in a phone as long as it's unlocked...we tried putting it in my hubbys phone just to see and it worked. I looked on craigslist but nothing in my price range in my state. I think I will check freecycle out next _________________ Sometimes I lie awake at night, and I ask, 'Where have I gone wrong?' I bought a cingular phone about 2-3 years ago and last year, with the taxes, i updated to get myself something nice. I went to the Cingular store (before at&t bought them out) and paid about $165 for a nice one and minutes and activation. BUT I was bought my original one from Walmart for about $50. It would still be active if Tim didn't bring it to work and keep it in his pocket. He get super dirty (you know that nextel commercial for if saw guys-or something like that- ran the DMV??? That is how dirty he gets) and some gunk got into where you plug it in to charge.
I would check WalMart- I even saw that Dollar General sells prepaid phones too. My local grocery store has some (Kroger owned), so check your local one. Chances are though, most of the prepaids are going to be the same at the stores, so keep looking for when the company changes them. _________________ Current Campaign(s):Teddy Grahams Trail Mix & Scrubbing Bubbles Action Scrubber & Max Factor & Pledge Multi Surface & Pedia-Lax

| I would also go to a few cellular stores. Some folks get new phones and just leave their good ones there. They might can sell them to you. _________________ Busy handing Rebecca Torches and Pitchforks. http://aretheyalseepyet.blogspot.com/ www.chellesguidetofreesurveys.com

| The only stores in the area that sell prepaid are Tracfone and I don't want one of those. Thats all our Walmart sells, or any of the other stores sell only Tracfone prepaid. I bought my current phone online from T-mobile because I didn't want Tracfone. _________________ Sometimes I lie awake at night, and I ask, 'Where have I gone wrong?' | have you tried ebay? I know that there are some less than stellar sellers on there. BUT there are lots of people like you and me, honest and just wanting someone else to use what they no longer can. you just need to inspect their feedback pretty good. _________________ Busy handing Rebecca Torches and Pitchforks. http://aretheyalseepyet.blogspot.com/ www.chellesguidetofreesurveys.com
