weather just couldn't be better

Post by bizzeedee on Fri Nov 06, 2009 7:12 pm

Seems like after a month of rain, and a month of cold, November has brought us the best of the best... for the past week, it's been sunny every day, mid 60's to low 70's...

Aaaah, now that's what the south is all about!

We haven't had any cold yet, cool, but not cold. It has been good here, in the 50
s at night, 80's during the day. Wearing shorts and flip flops in Nov, but then again we have worn shorts and flip flops on christmas, and had snow on Easter in the same year. Never know around here....heck we could have a hurriccane in the next week or so.

I think we've been running a little colder than you have, Dee. But to be honest, I've been in a benadryl induced stupor all week. Add to that the fact that I've had cold chills and it could have been in the 90's and I might not have noticed.

Sorry Karen... I think gals going thru menopause have the same symptons, heat & cold sways (sorry couldn't resist... I'm over that now Laughing ) It has been getting cold here at night, low 40's and mid 30's... so does take a while to heat up to our highs... but that's okay. I go to yoga in the morning in sweats and hoodie and come home and put shorts (and flip flops Edbson!) on in the afternoon.

We woke up to a fairyland of frost today. It was just gorgeous driving MIL to the hospital this morning. The sun was out and everything was sparkling. After all the rain and wind - I'll take it!

We've got cool 50's during the day. They had snow and plenty of it 10 miles away up in the hills but thankfully it has not gotten to us yet. It's suppose to warm up a bit next week.
