Salad with fruit and amazing dressing
Poppy Seed Dressing:
1 cup vegetable oil
1/3 cup cider vinegar
1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp. dry ground mustard
1 tbs. poppy seeds
1 medium to large sweet yellow onion (cut into 1/8 size
chunks)
Add all ingredients into blender & puree for about 30-40 seconds or until frothy Refrigerate for a few hours before serving.
Shake well before dressing the salad
Salad - romaine, strawberries, red grapes halved, blueberries, gouda cheese cubed small, toss with dressing right before serving.
Sometimes I put fresh peaches in season or whatever combo you like.
Also shredded cheddar, hard boiled egg & bacon bits w/ the dressing is good if you don't want to do fruit.

Re: Salad with fruit and amazing dressing
I think I may try making this dressing. DH and I like a salad with lettuce (I use butter lettuce) sliced almonds, mandarian oranges, onion and poppy seed dressing. I have never tried making it, but this sounds great, thanks.
