Snow recipes

Post by thebigscott on Wed Feb 04, 2009 2:03 pm

We usually make snow cream with condensed milk and vanilla, but I also sometimes boil maple syrup and then pour it on a big bowl full of snow. It hardens up into candy if you boil it long enough, and the snow that's left afterwards is delicious.

A girl friend of mine used to add milk and sugar or something like that to snow. I never tried it, but she always talked about it... I might have to try something next time it snows here

My mother used to make it for us when we were kids. I think it was the milk & sugar kind. The acid rain scare pretty much ended our snow cream days.
