How many Mypoints do you currently have?

I was just wondering how many points others had currently have.
What are your favorite giftcards to get with mypoints?
And if you are saving up your points, what are you saving them for?


I have a points balance of 17389 with 308 of those pending and have yet to cash any out.

I've redeemed for Amazon, Subway, Bath and Body Works, Pier 1 Imports...depends on if it's for a gift or not.

It doesn't really serve you well to hang onto points, though, because the price on the gift cards go up all the time. They used to be about 1400 points for $10 card when we switched over, and now some are up to 1550 points for a $10 card.

I cash out as soon as I have enough for a $25 GC, usually wal mart or target. My balance is just over 1000 right now, but I also just cashed out for a $50 card.
Preshitola I had about 4000, added them to the bzzpoints, and got bunches of GC's

Like Erin I just recieved a GC from BBW ($25.00) that I cashed points in for, and my balance I have left over is about 1100.

I hadn't checked in months, but I decided I was curious. I have 878 points.

I have 9,000 something. I haven't decided what to cash them in for yet. Probably Walgreens or Penneys

I went ahead and got a $50 Old Navy card to start with... got it today and it came with a $15 giftcard for FTD, which was a bit of a surprise. I can't decided on what giftcard to get next...

One member here got several hundred dollars worth of gift cards from one of the home centers (Home Depot?) and got new flooring!

I'm kind of on a mission to get a new KitcehnAid mixer so I'm trying to save my points for Amazon gift cards. Last year for Christmas, my sons got new wallets with several gift cards in the credit card slots.

the wallets with giftcards is a good idea!
I'm thinking I might just cash out points for a $50 giftcard every so often for myself...then go on a much needed shopping spree!

I'm currently at 1587... just received a $25 Applebee's card last week. All I've ever redeemed for are restaurant gift cards. It's a nice treat to take my DH to dinner once in a while. Think I've gotten a total of 8 of them since last year when BA switched to MP. I'm happy with the system. I cash in just as soon as I have the correct number of points... because as someone said, the needed points for different cards does go up.

Yup. I got that one several months ago and found out that it only lets you order a few particular items... which are priced slightly higher than on the regular site. Or rather, the regular site has them on sale, but the link through the card doesn't. Either way, you'd end up spending about the same amount. This was a part of my decision not to pursue MyPits that much.

I got two of the FTD cards around Christmas with my orders, after investigating, I decided they weren't worth using. They made it "sound" nice anyway.

e-Rewards has the same sort of deal with their FTD "gift cards". You can only order by clicking on a specific link, and the prices are higher than normal, plus you can't use any discount codes when you order. I'd advise anyone to chuck these FTD cards in the garbage. There's a reason they give these away for free.
