they emailed back and apparently infospace is working on fixing it. They suggested uninstalling it and trying again as that works for a lot of people (umm did I not say that it doesn't work and I've tried many times). and that if you are still experiencing problems, a new version is coming out Summer 2009... great, I thought the Spring 2009 was suppose to solve this issue.

You're not alone. I did the same steps you did, and mine doesn't work either. Thanks for the update.

I don't know the point system for using the toolbar, but it you use MP as your "search engine" you get points. Last two months, I think 30 searches gave me 50 or 75 MP. Heck, you don't even have to be searching for anything real... just type in "something" and do a web search... I find myself now going to MP and doing a search when looking for a TV link, or any website... it's like free points, and you don't have to deal with their tool bar.

I love having the toolbar though, as I search often. This way I can do it from where ever I am, no extra steps.

I have not heard anything from my last email I sent them last week. Heck if they weren't going to give me my points that I earned, I was going to clear the air, and I let them have it. So much for that last investigation. I'm sure I will hear nothing more about the issue, and in my opinion that is just very bad customer service and nothing more.
Just to be a thorn in their side, I should email them every day. Every time I think of it, I get so mad I could chew nails.

Well, after battling with Mypoints for months over 2 reports that I didn't get credit for I finally have. I went into mypoints to check on something and noticed that I have 100 pts pending until July13th. I haven't gotten a reply from them though. This is credit from reports back in March.

Geez! ANd they're still pending? They must be the cheapest people on the planet.

They must have just credited them the other day. And yes, they are pending them...they should have been credited and already available by now, had they been doing what they should.

I'm glad that you're getting those points, but it's awful that you not only had to fight with them for 2 months, but now they're pending. I bet they were just hoping you'd go away. I hope they at least send you an apology, but I doubt you'll ever see that.

Nope still no email saying they credited me. I guess they finally got the message in my last email I sent. It has been a real PITA to say the least. I know it is only 100 points, but it was the principle of the matter.
