Mypoints and eBay

I want to do some buying on eBay and I figured that getting some points from it would be a good idea. do we have to create a new account to get the two points per dollar or does anyone know if i will get the points if I just access eBay through mypoints and use my current username?

I'm pretty sure you get the 2 points per dollar no matter when you opened your account. Sometimes there are bonus offers of points (100, maybe) for opening a new account, too.

I did not open a new account. I just go to mypoints and then ebay. I have also forgotten about mypoints until after the fact. I still went to mypoints, and then to ebay and clicked on the auction that I had won, and still got my points. You have to do that though fairly quickly after winning though.

thats good to know... that if I forget and win something that I can go back and still get the points! I wish it was more than 2 points for every dollar though, but I will take what i can get!
