Waiting for a Magazines.com Bonus Email
I just discovered a great new magazine that I want to order (Shroud), but I want to order through one of those 500-Point Bonus emails from My Points.
I don't know if I can wait!

I've never heard of shroud. What's it about?

Re: Waiting for a Magazines.com Bonus Email
It's a literary magazine similar to Ellery Queen Mystery Magazine or Analog Science Fiction, but it features horror stories and dark tales. I just found out about it on Amazon.com. One of the back issues was on a 4 for 3 promotion, so I ordered that to start. It's getting really good reviews and I think there have only been about 5 issues released so far, so I hope to collect all of the back issues and keep up a subscription.

Re: Waiting for a Magazines.com Bonus Email
I could be wrong, but I think I got a bonus email from MP for ordering thru mag.com... (I've used them) and it was 500 points. I'll check my deleted emails and see if it's still there.

It's at 250 points right now. I think bonus emails are for 500 points.

Sounds like a fun read. My kids would love it.

Re: Waiting for a Magazines.com Bonus Email
I just received the re-notification email for 500 bonus points for mag.com.. expires July 22.
do you suppose if I forwarded my email to you, that you could use it?
or at least check again today and see if you got the email or still get the same deal from the MP link.
find it hard to believe only a select few would get the offer... granted, I am special, but not THAT special

Re: Waiting for a Magazines.com Bonus Email
Karen, I'll let you know if the content is kid-appropriate. I'm not too prudish when it comes to letting my kids read w hat they want, but I'm not sure where you stand on that issue.
Dee - I am gonna check for that Bonus mail in the next few days. WooHoo! Maybe I fished my wish.

Re: Waiting for a Magazines.com Bonus Email
Why did I assume that all of those Bonus emails went out at the same time to all of us? I still didn't get it, but I'm hopeful. I also just looked at MyPoints to see if maybe it was a featured "double days" store, where 250 points per magazine would be doubled to 500, but it's not.

Re: Waiting for a Magazines.com Bonus Email
OK, I got it! I ended up tacking on a 16 week subscription for Entertainment Weekly for only $5.97. I got that deal last summer and was hoping to see the offer this summer, too, but maybe it's only offered now if you place an order.

I get email offers directly from EW for $10 for an entire year. Just a FYI for next time.
