Carol Goodman??

I just got done w/ one of her books (title is something like "Language of the Dead Lakes" or something like that). I checked out two more books. Anyone like this author?

Kind of a suspense, mystery books.
The only one I have read so far is Lake of Dead Languages, but I have two more checked out and hope to start soon.
