I'd recommend the Black, Red, and White series by Ted Dekker... Great story and he carries bits of the story into a lot of his other books.

I am ashamed to say I am addicted to the Gossip Girls series. I guess more accurately would be I WAS addicted, since I have now read every book in the series, and the author has started a new series with different characters.
I love Watchers by Dean Koontz, Twilight by Stephenie Meyers, Dangerous Liaisons, and most chick lit novels!
