Twilight

I am just starting the series- can't wait!

I'm almost jealous - but be careful because you will not be able to accomplish much else while you are reading these.

Oh, my, once I started it was very difficult to put it down- I have purchased the second one now. Love the story line and the characters. Almost makes you want to try the Vampire style of life- almost!

I couldn't function in my life when I was reading these books... my girls lived on the basics for about a week. Once I was done w/ the first 3 books, then my life could go on as scheduled. LOL

I love these books! But I feel bad for my family when I am reading them

Oh, me too and I am now on the newest one. I was up until 5 this morning reading. I love this author and story line.

I am addicted to these as well. I read all four books in 2 days, and neglected chores, eating and hygiene (okay, maybe not hygiene) in order to read these books. I read them at work, while driving, while blow drying my hair, at the DMV, pretty much anywhere! Then, I went and saw the movie. Do NOT see the movie before reading the books. It will completely shatter any and all images you might create yourself. I was not a huge fan of the movie, other than the fact that they used Muse in the soundtrack (Muse is my favorite band and coincidentally Stephenie Meyer claims Muse was a huge inspiration to write these books). Either way, vampires were never a HUGE interest of mine. I remember reading Blood and Chocolate and Silver Kiss when I was a younger, but I never pursued the genre. There is something about these books that is so addicting that they'll keep you up. They're a very, very easy read, and I love them!

i liked them but i really didn't like the last bood breaking dawn

i guess it just didn't end like i wanted it to so that's why i didn't like it

I just finished Eclipse, and started Breaking Dawn, and am Printing Midnight Sun as I type......I can't wait till next sat when the movie comes out on DVD...

Question, is Nessie born in Eclipse or breaking dawn?

Breaking Dawn... and you're printing out Midnight Sun? Man! That's like 200 pages!

I thought that Nessie was born at the end of Eclipse or the very beginning of Breaking Dawn. I loved this series. Once I started I couldn't stop reading till I finished all 4 books.

One reason I loved the series is that it was written with no-vivid sex scenes and no vulgar language. I think it proved you can write this way and still sell books. More moms read this series I think than teen age girls. Now if you want one she wrote for adults, there is one out there, but it has no vivid sex scenes or inappropriate language either and it is NOT about vampires.

I am on the 5th one, Midnight Sun, and cannot put it down. I cannot wait until it actually comes out, and is not just a 264 page draft.....it's available on her website. btw

Edward & Bella get married in the 4th book: Breaking Dawn. So therefore, Nessie is born in the middle of the book.

I loved Midnight Sun as well... I'm hoping she eventually picks it back up & finishes writing it!

The Host is the adult novel she wrote. It's very sci-fi w/ a romance twist. It was hard to get into at first, but then it went pretty fast reading after a few chapters in.
