Stephanie Meyer is the author... and it's being made into a movie. So, it must be good. The guy who played Cedric in Harry Potter is in it! Whoo!

I am shamefully addicted to these books.I read them to see what all of the fuss was about and fell in love. I would read them while picking my kids up from school, washing dishes, etc. Stephanie Meyer has created the perfect character in 'Edward Cullen'

I let all my household stuff go for a whole week while reading those books. My poor family ate cereal a few times for dinner b/c I just was SO engrossed in the story. Sad

Yes, Edward is the PERFECT man! I told my husband that if Edward Cullen ever came around (or even Jacob for that matter), I was gone... *snort* He just rolled his eyes at me.

i am working my way through the first book in this series. while interesting it smacks of a teen romance to be honest. for me anyways! i am but more laurel k hamilton when it comes to vampire romance stories.

The author wanted to keep it clean as possible b/c her sons were reading it as well. Hence the PG type of book. I personally like the "no sex, no cussing" kind of books. I never read the racy romance books because it's literally like watching pornography in your head when you read the books. LOL

While at the bookstore buying the 2nd book, the manager said more women are reading the young adult generation books than the teenagers themselves.... she also said a bunch of them are wanting to get away from the raunchiness of the adult romance books. Who knows though...

OH yes, there's the TwilightMoms forum. ::giggling:: I glanced at it, still haven't signed up, and was floored at the amount of people who post on there, and what they talk about. I think I feel remotely normal after I read their posts. Ha ha

OOOOOOH, I love the Twilight Series! Everyone I know who has read it, loves the Twilight series.

You know what would be awesome??? A bzzagent movie campaign for us Bzzagent TwiMoms! I could probably get a $50 GC from the reports I could submit on that one! I mean, seriously, I love this series of books, and i'm waiting anxiously for the movie, which I heard comes out in December.
