Re: Hello from NY!
Now I'm wishing I had enough money to visit New York again. I haven't been in a decade. Last time I went, Zaven and Caly were like 7 and 4. We went to the Empire State Building and the National History Museum and took the ferry out to the Statue of Liberty. We thought about going in the World Trade Centers but were running out of money and time. I remember thinking that they weren't going anywhere and we'd go on the next trip.
I never could have imagined that they'd be gone the next year. Do you get in to the city often? Or is it too expensive?

Re: Hello from NY!
oh ok tara, you're like a world away lol. No one would have ever thought that they would be gone thebigscott. It was a shocker for everyone. I usually only go to manhattan for continuing education meetings.I love manhattan but too much traffic,no parking.Otherwise I would go more often. It is expensive if you're paying for a hotel that's for sure.

Re: Hello from NY!
We couldn't afford to stay in Manhattan. We stayed in Jersey and drove in, LOL. In fact, we didn't even drive all the way. We did a Park and Ride so we wouldn't have to pay to park in the city. Too time consuming and expensive. But staying outside the city made it affordable to hit some places we couldn't have otherwise. I grew up in Binghamton, even though I live in Kentucky.
